RIFT PRICE LEDGER

A useful price without the interrogation.

Three essentials first. Add only the charged items or access details that actually apply.

Automatic guides are rate-limited and deliberately rounded. They are not a public rate card.

THE SIX PRICE DRIVERS

What can change the total.

If a factor applies to your job, it belongs in the estimate before booking—not as a surprise at the van.

01

Collection pack

The closest van-space band, normal loading time and a standard mixed-waste allowance.

02

Weight & material

Dense loads can reach legal payload before the van looks full, so weight can override volume.

03

Item routes

Upholstered seating, mattresses and electricals can carry separate treatment or disposal costs.

04

Access & labour

Stairs, long carries, dismantling and site rules change the time and people needed.

05

Collection route

Travel, disposal destination and any unavoidable third-party parking cost are priced into the real job.

06

Timing

Flexible work uses normal capacity; confirmed same-day, next-day or out-of-hours work may carry priority cost.

WHY SOME ITEMS COST MORE

Different waste.
Different route.

The charge is not for clicking another box. It reflects extra site cost, segregation, treatment, payload or labour.

CHECK A WASTE TYPE
  1. 01
    Upholstered seating

Sofas, armchairs, recliners and upholstered office seating may require a POPs-compliant route.

  2. 02
    Mattresses

Declared separately because the receiving site may charge per item rather than ordinary mixed-waste weight.

  3. 03
    Fridges & electricals

WEEE and refrigeration equipment need the correct receiving route and may attract an item charge.

  4. 04
    Dense material

Soil, rubble, concrete, tiles and similar material are reviewed by payload and disposal stream—not visual fullness.

  5. 05
    Plasterboard

Must be identified and kept separate for the correct disposal route.

  6. 06
    Unknown or restricted waste

No automatic price. RIFT screens the material before deciding whether it can be accepted.

FAIR, DEFENSIBLE PRICING

The rules do not move after the fact.

ESTIMATE

The website uses only what can be seen or declared. Hidden bag contents and exact weight remain unknown.

CONFIRMATION

RIFT checks the material, route, access and timing before issuing the written quotation.

PRICE LOCK

The confirmed total stands while the waste and collection conditions match the agreed scope.

VARIATION CONTROL

If the job is materially different, RIFT explains the change and obtains approval before extra work.

PRICING QUESTIONS

Before you request a slot.

Why is the website price a range?+

Photographs and load descriptions cannot prove exact weight, hidden contents or the final receiving-site route. The range is deliberately guarded; RIFT confirms one written total before collection.

Are labour and loading included?+

Normal labour and loading for the declared collection pack are included. Stairs, unusually long carries, dismantling, waiting or site-specific restrictions must be declared so the real labour can be priced.

Can I get a price for heavy waste?+

Yes, but dense material is routed to human review because legal payload can be reached while the van still looks partly empty. Send photographs and an approximate quantity.

Will RIFT add fees on the day?+

Not where the job matches the confirmed written scope. If undisclosed waste or a materially different access route changes the work, RIFT stops and agrees the variation before proceeding.
