Straight answers

Before you book.

These are the details customers usually need once the waste has been identified.

01Is the AI photo estimate the final price?+

No. It is a guarded starting range based on visible waste and the job facts you declare. RIFT reviews the photographs, material, access and timing before confirming a written price.

02What makes the confirmed price change?+

A confirmed quotation is based on the agreed scope. Undisclosed extra waste, different materials, blocked access, extra dismantling or a materially different loading route may require a variation before the extra work proceeds.

03Do I need to put everything outside?+

No. RIFT can collect from the disclosed location where access is safe and has been included in the quotation. Showing the route out helps prevent surprises.

04Do I need to be present?+

Not always. An authorised keyholder, agent, tenant or contractor can provide access. Remote and managed-property jobs should include clear retain, remove and no-entry instructions.

05Can I choose a collection time?+

Tell RIFT your preferred date or deadline. A practical date and arrival window are confirmed after the job, route and availability have been reviewed; submitting a form alone does not reserve a slot.

06What cannot go into an ordinary mixed load?+

Hazardous or unidentified materials need separate specialist assessment. This includes suspected asbestos, chemicals, fuels, solvents, sharps, clinical waste and unknown liquids. Plasterboard and several item-specific streams must also remain identifiable.

07What paperwork will I receive?+

The close-out depends on the job and customer requirement. RIFT can provide an invoice, completion confirmation, photographs and applicable waste paperwork where agreed.

08Can reusable items be donated or kept out of waste?+

Flag anything that may be reusable. RIFT can keep it identifiable and discuss a suitable route, but reuse, donation acceptance and any value cannot be guaranteed.

09How should I photograph the job?+

Take at least one wide image of every area, then photograph special items and the access route. Avoid people, documents and unnecessary personal information.

10What if the job is urgent?+

Call 07438 096504 and state the site postcode, responsible contact, waste type, immediate impact and required attendance. Urgent attendance is subject to availability and a safe, approved route.
